Gale was just 18 when she was 18 when she won a modeling contest at the age of 18 in Perth. Gale was a model for several years until she was recognized as a model in 1999 after Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) invited her to appear in ads. She continued to work as a model for the company until. In 2003 she was hired by the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. She has also appeared in Italian Maxim and Australian InStyle. Gale has collaborated with Italian designers such as Gianfranco Fere Genny Gai Mattiolo, and Gianfranco Fere. As of 2006, Gale served as moderator of the Australian awards on television, known as the Logies. Gale quit modeling runways at the beginning of January in 2008 after 15 years. The last time she walked the catwalk at the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney within a couple of weeks. Her last outfit was her Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the unreleased movie Justice League of America. Gale closed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March 2011.
